Oh, I must’ve missed the part where Block crashed and then had his car caught on fire! I thought it’d decided to just immolate itself without warning during that rally stage!

Dayum...there are some sketchy tracks out there in the world.
I watched the whole thing and I’m still hung up on that 1-series(?) hitting the rock wall near the beginning. That was a really sudden stop.

Yeah, when he tried to downshift in the corner the gear didn’t engage (you can hear the engine rev just before the impact). Without the engine spinning the wheels the car didn’t slide as he planned and it tightened the corner, causing him to hit the rock, which took out the oil pan.
